What is SERGOM?

Well, to put it in it's most simplest form, SERGOM is a car company. Of course, that can't just be it... That would be way too boring for a comic to solely be based upon. SERGOM manufactures flying cars, shuttles, and commercial ships. Anyone would think that a company such as this would be bathing in profits and fame. Unfortunately the company is actually bathing in bankrupcy and infamy.

The company operates by utilizing its own fleet to travel the world, attending conventions and events, trying to make a sale. Some ships in the fleet happen to interest more investors than other ships. Ironically, the one shipful of employees that gave SERGOM such a wacky reputation also happens to be the shipful who generates the most profit for the company. Rick, the president of the crippled company, is quite aware of this and it frustrates him madly.

Ship 7, the largest, fastest, and most powerful SERGOM manufactered, is where our story takes place. Aboard the vessel are eight employees, the makings of a well-oiled and fine-tuned selling machine. Of course, the captain can hardly get anything right except for his speeches, one employee finds it funny to toss things out of the ship, the co-captain can control her size and it usually leads to complex situations, another employee is as dumb as a bag of hammers, and 5 of them know how to knit.

No matter what they go through, they must stick together. They must eat together. They must work together. They must live together. Forever. Not really, but to some of them, it sure feels that way.

The comic's timeline commences before Sarah and Mark are assigned to the ship. They were put on to help out around the ship and maximize effort put into important stuff. That's what Rick told them. Rick actually assigned them in hopes that they would help decrease the so called "mistakes" that their ship is known for. Before I sprout off too much, let me introduce you to the cast.

Bernard

Manager of the operation, Bernard takes on the responsibility for everyone on the ship. Just because he's the boss doesn't always mean he acts like it. He often gets on the nerves of both Terra and Vittoria. Although he fools around, he knows the time and place for it. Every major decision onboard goes through Bernard first. Bernard, along with Vittoria, has a SERGOM license and the two are the only ones educated to fly the ship.

Vittoria

Although Vittoria may appear to be just another member of the group, she has a quality that separates her from her coworkers. She has to ability to control her size. This ability proves very useful for knocking out busy work around the ship, but it also leads to very awkward situations. The rest have learned to accept her uniqueness and stay cautious not to get on her bad side. She's second in command right behind Bernard and is the one who fixes every single one of his mistakes. She takes control of the ship whenever she feels it's needed.

Sarah

Spending most of her life around paper work, she took the job at SERGOM to get away from the normal monotonous routine of the typical office workplace. She now takes care of all the paper work aboard the ship. She's not as boring as her job though. She dyes her hair blue to look a little more unique than a just simply a white wolf with white hair.

Terra

Technical guru and internet nut, Terra spends most of her time keeping the ship's internal computer in check. As for working around the ship, she mostly cooks. Most of that time, Vittoria's in the kitchen helping her with dishes or setting the table. Bernard can get on her nerves quite a lot. On rare occasion, Bernard will pull off some crazy stunt with the ship as Terra is cooking. Usually this doesn't end well and Bernard never hears the end of it.

Max

A fun, loving, all-around great guy. Most of the time. Max will often team up with Ted to prank others around the ship. If not with Ted, he'll be around Todd to cheer him on. He spends spare time helping Vittoria whenever possible. He's freakishly obsessed with Vittoria's gift to grow and tries to persuade her to use it whenever possible.

Mark

Loves to play around but also knows the time and place for it. He'll throw in a quick joke or witty remark to put a smile on someone's face. He's very nervous around Vittoria and completely runs for it whenever she grows.

Ted

Ted's just 'that other guy.' He skulks around the ship, usually up to no good. He rarely bothers Vittoria or Terra, but when he does, it's pretty intense. Aside from being an outcast, he could safely be called the unluckiest aboard with all the crap that happens outside his favor.

Todd

Last and probably considered the least, Todd is the youngest and least experienced SERGOM employee, ever. To his coworkers, he's a nuisance and gets on the nerves of everyone aboard. Most of the time, he'll hang around Max and stay out of everyone else's view.
